Spelling in Room 10
- Each week, you need 10 words to learn for spelling. You can have more if you are up to it, less if you find 10 too hard to learn.
- The words should be taken from your Spelling City list tests (use the words you got wrong). You can find the lists on the Room 10 blog (Spelling Page).
- Login to Spelling City. Enter your words into Spelling City by making a new list. Call it e.g. Term 1, Week 5
- When you run out of words, test yourself on the next list up or get some of the vocabulary words that come up in W.I.T., Maths, Reading etc, from your own writing or from the books you are reading.
- You should practise them at home and during Literacy time.
- Your words will be tested on a Friday using Spelling City - SO THEY MUST BE ENTERED. Once you have done your test, Send a screenshot of the result to Mr A and post a copy on your blog.
- Then make a new list for next week. The words you get wrong should go onto your next list.
